WHO
WE ARE

Vegyptian was born in the kitchen of our restaurant Dar Nabati in 2018. After a year of serving it to our customers through our menu our founder Israa Ali decided to start packaging our top sellers the Chick'n & Beefless Shawarma. We operated under the restaurant's brand for 2019 & 2020. As the demand for our products grew and more retailers became interested in carrying our products we decided to give our products their own brand, Vegyptian.

The name Vegyptian is as simple as it sounds- Vegan & Egyptian inspired. Israa, who’s also a nutritionist, created recipes that are inclusive to all diets and incorporates her culture. The result is a winner, and as you would maybe presume with plant-based, it’s filling without giving you the shawarma sweats– the meaty proteins that are the usual stars of this popular meal have a reputation for leaving you with regrets, but here, the experience is refined, delicious and nutritious.
